01 Keynotes & Team Sessions

Your team doesn't act on what you meant.

They act on what they received. I speak to leadership teams and conference rooms about the space between those two things — and how to close it without becoming someone else.

02 The Room I'm Usually Called Into

Somebody in your organization is already saying one of these.

Those aren't four problems. They're one problem wearing four faces — a leader whose intent is good and whose impact is landing somewhere else entirely. Nobody in the room can name the mechanism, so everybody works on the symptom. That's why the retreat didn't hold.

03 The Spine of Every Talk

Intent + Impact = Influence

Intent

How you see the world

Your wiring. What you're actually trying to do, why you move the way you move, and what you're protecting when you do it. I read this with the Enneagram — as a map, not a stamp.

+
Impact

How the world receives you

What actually lands. Not how you'd describe yourself — how the room describes you when you leave it. I read this with How to Fascinate®, discovered by Sally Hogshead.

Perception is the only reality your team acts on. You can be right about your intent and still be wrong about your impact — and your team will respond to the impact every time.

The translation between those two reads is the work. I call it The Translation Method™, and it's the through-line of everything below. I don't fix behaviors. I diagnose wiring.

04 The Talks

Three ways in. Same diagnosis underneath.

Keynote — Signature

Intent Isn't the Grade. Impact Is.

The talk for a room full of capable leaders who are being graded on something they've never been shown. I take the audience through what their intent looks like from the inside, what their impact looks like from the outside, and the specific moment those two diverge — then hand them the read on both.

  • Why good intent doesn't protect you from bad impact
  • The four faces of a translation gap, and which one is in your building
  • A language for naming the mechanism instead of the symptom
Keynote

Perception Is the Only Reality Your Team Acts On

Leaders spend enormous energy being right and very little being received. This one is about the gap between the two — the leader who stays involved because they care and gets read as controlling, the leader who holds a high standard and gets read as cold. Built for audiences who've already done the self-awareness work and are still hitting the same wall.

  • The three stages of awareness — and why both ends carry a gap
  • How competence gets misread, and the tax that falls harder on some leaders than others
  • What to do in the ten minutes after you realize you've been misread
Team Session

You Don't Have to Change

The working session for an intact team. Every person gets both reads — their wiring and their reception — and then we do the part that assessments skip: the translation between them, out loud, with the people they actually work with. Nobody leaves with a new personality. They leave able to operate the one they have.

  • Each person's own map, in their own words
  • The specific friction points between this team's wirings
  • A Personal Operating Manual per person — something to use Monday, not a report to file

Every talk gets built against your room. Tell me who's in the audience and what's actually going on, and I'll tell you which of these to run — or whether you need something else.

05 Formats

Conference stage to closed-door team room.

FormatLengthBest for
Keynote45–60 minConferences, annual meetings, leadership summits. Full room, no assessment required in advance.
Breakout / Workshop90 min – half dayA working session inside a larger event. Interactive, with live diagnosis from the room.
Team IntensiveHalf or full dayOne intact leadership team. Both reads run in advance; the session is the translation work.

07 Who's Speaking

I'm a leadership strategist and a diagnostician.

I'm a fourth-generation entrepreneur who started my first agency in my early twenties. I'm a Certified Enneagram Practitioner, the author of The Burnout Recovery System, and Chief of Culture and Strategy at How to Fascinate®, where I've spent years studying how natural influence styles interact with internal wiring.

I run an independent practice with founders, senior leaders inside large organizations, and their teams. The work sits where human wiring meets real leadership influence — the layer no assessment, no therapy, and no standard coaching engagement is touching. That's what I came to talk about.

08 Questions Bookers Ask
My team says I'm intimidating, but I genuinely care about them. What's actually happening?
Your intent and your impact have come apart, and no one has given you language for the space between them. What reads as intimidating is usually competence plus reserve — you're processing internally and the room is reading the silence. The fix isn't becoming warmer. It's learning what your particular wiring broadcasts when you're not narrating it, then translating on purpose.
We did DiSC and a team retreat. The friction came back within a month. Why?
Because an assessment maps one variable: each person, on their own. It tells you what you are. It doesn't tell you what happens in the space between you and the person across the table, which is where the friction actually lives. A behavior layered on unchanged wiring reads as performance, and teams trust the wiring underneath more than the adjustment on top. That's why it doesn't hold.
Is this a personality test?
No. I use the Enneagram as a map, not a stamp — it's a diagnostic read on intent, not a label to file people under. And I pair it with How to Fascinate®, discovered by Sally Hogshead, which measures how others perceive you rather than how you see yourself. Two reads, from opposite directions. The session is what happens between them.
What's the difference between intent and impact in leadership?
Intent is how you see the world — what you meant, what you were protecting, why you moved the way you moved. Impact is how the world receives you — what actually landed for the person on the other side. Leaders are graded on impact and defend themselves with intent. The translation between the two is where influence is either built or lost.
Do participants need to take an assessment before the session?
Not for a keynote — that stands on its own. For a team intensive, yes: both reads run in advance so the session itself can be the translation work rather than the data collection.
What size audience does this work for?
The keynotes scale to a full conference room. The team intensive is built for one intact leadership team, because the work is the friction between specific people — it doesn't generalize across a crowd.

Tell me who's in the room.

Send me the event, the date, the audience, and what's actually going on with them. I'll tell you straight whether I'm the right person for it.
